Baseball round-up: Vikings, Clippers earn wins

Some of the area's baseball teams wrapped up their regular season on Tuesday ahead of their tournament debuts on Thursday.

 

The Sturgeon Bay baseball team defeated Mishicot to finish the regular season 12-8 (6-2 in Packerland) with a 5-1 victory. 

 

Kewaunee's pitching quartet of Brett Paulsen, Brady Pribek, Jackson Walecka, and Waylon Delain held Freedom to one run and one hit in a 4-1 win on Tuesday.

 

Five errors ultimately cost the Luxemburg-Casco baseball team in the end of an 8-2 loss to Green Bay Preble at Joannes Park on Tuesday. 

 

Gibraltar/Washington Island's Aaron Brey and Southern Door's Isaac Baudhuin both went the distance, but it was the former that walked away with the 2-1 win on Tuesday.
