The Kewaunee Storm are heading to Appleton for the WIAA State Baseball Tournament after a pair of wins on Tuesday.

The Storm earned a chance to play for the Sectional Championship by beating the Chilton Tigers 1-0 before securing a 6-5 win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood in the sectional final. The Storm will next play on June 17th with a TBD time at Fox Cities Stadium.

In the other game featured on the NEW Radio Sports Network, Gibraltar/Washington Island found themselves on the short end of a tournament game against Pacelli for the third straight season, this time a 6-3 defeat in the sectional semi-final round in Plover.
