The Green Bay Rockers continue to hover around the .500 mark after losing to the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 5-3 at Fox Cities Stadium on Thursday.
A hit-by-pitch and a fielder's choice gave the Rockers an early 2-0 lead, but the Dock Spiders used three hits to score four runs to take control of the game for good with a 4-2 mark. The two teams traded runs the rest of the way with the Dock Spiders scoring an insurance run in the fourth inning and the Rockers cutting the lead in the seventh inning.
David Belenilla went 2-3 as the only Rockers player with multiple hits while Jalan Jones' 1-4 day led to him leading the Rockers with two RBI.
The Rockers return to action Friday night against Dock Spiders in Fond du Lac.
