While the dust may have settled on the WIAA baseball season after last week's state tournament, two local players still have a few more at-bats in them so they can represent their schools one final time.
Gibraltar/Washington Island's Brady Kita and Algoma's Carson Leist will play on the North Squad in this Friday and Saturday's Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Games in Oshkosh. Over 70 senior baseball players were selected to be part of the showcase. Both Kita and Leist were all-Packerland Conference selections en route to regional final appearances with their respective teams.
