Packers set training camp schedule

The Green Bay Packers are allowing you to watch more than a dozen practices in person this summer.

 

According to Packers.com, the first public practice will occur on Wednesday, July 23, with additional ones scheduled for Thursday and Friday (July 24-25). The Annual Meeting of Shareholders will follow the Friday practice at 3 p.m. After a day off on Saturday, Green Bay will hold the first of four public practices in five days on Sunday (July 27-28 and 30-31). Following its Packers Family Night scrimmage on August 2nd, the Packers will have three straight public practices (Aug. 5-7) before taking on the New York Jets at home on August 9th at 7 p.m. The Packers will have one public practice on August 12th, before going to Indianapolis, where it will have a joint practice (Aug. 14) before facing the Colts on August 16th. The Packers finish off the open training camp sessions with an open practice on August 19th and then an open joint practice against Seattle (Aug. 21) before facing the Seahawks at Lambeau Field on August 23rd.

 

All public training-camp practices at Ray Nitschke Field are scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m., but practices will be closed to the public and moved inside the Don Hutson Center if it rains.
