The Green Bay Rockers walked the tightrope all the way to the bitter end of an 8-7 win over the Wausau Woodchucks.
The Rockers jumped out to leads of 3-0 and 7-2 before the Woodchucks rallied for four runs in the sixth inning and one more run in the seventh inning. The Rockers tasked Tomas Lopez with getting a three-inning save. He walked the bases loaded with two outs, but he was able to get a groundout to end the game and keep the Rockers in the top spot of the division.
Parker Martin led the Rockers' offense as he has all season long, going 2-6 with a team-high three RBI. Aidan Kuni went 1-4 with two RBI thanks to a home run. The Rockers' pitchers struggled in the contest, walking 14 batters and allowing eight hits.
