Rockers top 'Chucks

The Green Bay Rockers laid their claim to the top of the division once again Saturday afternoon, edging the Wausau Woodchucks 5-4.

 

After putting up a run in the first inning, the Rockers found themselves down 3-1 entering the sixth inning. They would score one run in the sixth inning before taking the lead in the seventh. The two teams traded runs in the eighth inning before the Rockers could hold off the Woodchucks in the ninth.

 

Parker Martin and Caleb Daniel each had three hits in the Rockers' win. Daniel and Collin Helms each had solo homers while Eric Jeon and Eli Selga also registered an RBI. Kamar Dove won in relief, pitching two innings of shutout ball while collecting a strikeout.
