Sevastopol announces 2025 Hall of Fame Class

Two individuals and two wrestling teams will be the newest inductees into the Sevastopol Athletic Hall of Fame this fall.

 

The district announced earlier this week the following individuals would be inducted into the Sevastopol Athletic Hall of Fame because of their contributions to the school's basketball and wrestling programs:

 

Male Athlete:

Ron Meikle

 

Male Athlete & Coach:

Dale Fuller

 

Teams:

1983-1984 Wrestling Team: Members included Bill Bordeau, Brian Wilke, Keith Haen, Rob Ash, Leif Lautenbach, John Spahr, Ralus Wagner, Jesse Schartner, Dean DeFere, Pete Franklin, Dave Geitner, and Jeff Jorns. The team was coached by head coach Dan Hein and assisted by Ray Leonardson. Linda Ehlers, Bob Schnackel, Mike Ploor, and Brenda (Tanck) Tebon served as managers.

 

1984-1985 Wrestling Team: Members included John Spahr, Brad Tanck, Leif Lautenbach, Mark Ash, Brian Wilke, Bill Bordeau, Dave Geitner, Jeff Jorns, Troy Weis, Jesse Schartner, Jim Leonardson, and Ralus Wagner. The team was coached by head coach Dan Hein and assisted by Ray Leonardson. Cindy (Henschel) Sullivan and Stacy Meneau served as managers.

 

A private ceremony will be held on Friday, September 19, beginning at 4:30 PM for friends and family.
