A first-inning double-play ball hit by Eli Selga proved to be the difference in a 2-1 Green Bay Rockers win over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders on Monday night.
Offense was hard to come by despite the Rockers giving the Dock Spiders extra base runners via three errors while being outhit 6-5. The two teams traded runs in the seventh inning with the Rockers' McClane Helton matching the Dock Spiders' Jaron Cotton solo shot with one of his own to ensure the home team earned the win.
David Ballenilla had two hits to lead the Rockers. KJ Ward earned the win in relief, allowing two hits across the final three innings while striking out a pair.
