The Green Bay Rockers played 10 innings on Tuesday, but lost two games to the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 6-4 and 14-12.
Defense and late inning pitching betrayed the Rockers in the contests, committing a combined nine errors while allowing a total of 10 runs in the final innings of play.
In game one, it was a four-run 10th inning that doomed the Rockers as an error and a hit-by-pitch set up a walk-off grand slam for the Dock Spiders.
In game two, the Dock Spiders ended the game with another walk-off homer, this time a two-run shot off the bat of Nate McHugh as a part of a six-run ninth inning. It spoiled a four RBI night for Collin Helms. Cayden Sheffield and Joe Mennella also drove in a pair for the Rockers in the loss.
