Ahnapee and Bay Port piled up the runs, but the Trailblazers pushed ahead in the end, winning 16-13 Monday night.
The Pirates were up 6-0 before the Trailblazers pieced together a seven-run rally with a Jacob Massey double and a Steven Prescott single in the third inning's biggest blows. After relinquishing the lead in the bottom of the third inning, the Trailblazers added another seven runs on the scoreboard with a Jonah Dahms double the key hit in the rally. It proved to be an important frame as the Pirates outscored the Trailblazers 4-2 from that point on, but it was not enough to overtake them.
Prescott went 3-6 with two RBI while Massey and Dahms each had two hits. Dahms, Ethan Kratcha, Massey, Prescott, and Jack Jeanquart all had multi-RBI games.
