
Sturgeon Bay's offense caught fire last night and put 70 points up against Gibraltar. The 70- 37 victory certainly instilled some confidence in the once struggling Clipper offense. Nathan Abrahamson led all scorers with 14 points, but got a lot of help from Trey Bumgardner, Riley Cordier, and Robert Wittenberg. Each scored nine points or more.
Southern Door took advantage of Sevastopol's weak ball handling and routed the Pioneers 66-39 with the Klaubauf brothers leading the way. Lance Klaubauf scored 17 points, and Drew added 11 in the win. The Eagles set the tone early with a 20-6 advantage. Austin Rohe added 10 points in the victory.
Algoma won the boys basketball version of the "War on the Shore" 51-34. The Storm had no answer for Travis Kostichka in the paint. His 23 points was nearly enough to top Kewaunee alone. Jake Wiese added 17 in the Kewaunee County rivalry game.
West De Pere eased past Luxemburg-Casco 61-44 after leading for the entire first half. L-C was up by four after one and led by seven at the half. Carson Falk scored 15 points for L-C in the loss.
