The Sturgeon Bay varsity swim team took to the pool over the weekend for the Eastern Wisconsin Conference swim meet at Plymouth. Brillion won the meet with host Plymouth taking second followed by Two Rivers, Kiel and Sturgeon Bay.
The Clippers finished with 43 team points in large part thanks to the personal best times registered by Trevor Smith in two events. A first place finish in the 200 IM came with a lightning fast time of 2:12.64. Smith added another gold medal in the 500 freestyle with a finishing time of 5:18.68.
Doug Foss swam extremely well too. He took fifth place in the 100 back with a personal best time of 1:06.69. Will Hartman added a sixth place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:29.51.
