Sheboygan native Sam Dekker's late three-pointer in the second overtime period put the Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team over the Iowa Hawkeyes 74-70 last night at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers led by as many as 11 in the first half, only to watch Iowa come back and take a nine point lead in the second half. Traevon Jackson made up for a Ryan Evans' turnover late in regulation by hitting a three pointer to tie the game with 20 seconds left in the final minutes of the second half.
The win pushes Wisconsin to 16-7 overall and 7-3 in the Big Ten. The Badgers next host third ranked Michigan at the Kohl Center on Saturday.
