Four Area Wrestlers Vie For Individual Titles

Luxemburg-Casco will be well-represented tonight on the state championship mats in Madison.

Jordan Pardowsky (170), Luke Destiche (220) and Newton Smerchek (285) are all just one match away from a state wrestling title. These three have put the Spartans in a good position to take the D2 state championship for the second year straight.

Southern Door’s Colin Schubert will also compete in the championship at 145. The senior is the first wrestler from Southern Door to make it to finals since 1997.
