More Spring Sport Cancellations

Area athletic directors continue to scratch their heads as the unseasonably cold weather continues this spring. The amount of snow still on the ground has kept teams practicing in gymnasiums and their initial slate of games hinging on Mother Nature’s will.

Sturgeon Bay baseball and softball games vs. NEW Lutheran have been postponed as announced yesterday by athletic director Pat Blizel. Baseball will play at Sturgeon Bay now on May 14th with a 4:30 PM start. Softball will play at Sturgeon Bay on April 23rd with a 4:30 PM start.

On April 29th both Sturgeon Bay baseball and softball will travel to Green Bay to play NEW Lutheran (That is a change for the baseball team which was supposed to play at home on that date). No JV games will be played because NEW does not have a JV team for baseball or softball.

The Sturgeon Bay girls JV soccer schedule has changed because of low participation numbers. Sturgeon Bay's JV girls will play on Friday, April 19th at Green Bay Notre Dame and will participate in the Wrightstown JV Invitational on Saturday, May 11th.  All other games have been cancelled. Please view any changes on the school's website.
